Weight loss can be a frustrating and stressful venture when looking at the big picture. Setting too large of a goal will often cause more stress and have people giving up during the weight loss journey. The smaller the goal, the easier it is too accomplish. Making small changes are the steps to making big changes. The desire to feel full is what everyone wants, but in most cases feeling full comes with a price of too many calories. The key to avoiding all the calories is fiber. Fiber fills you up without providing all the calories that your body doesn’t need, especially when it is combined with drinking the daily-recommended amount of water.

“A recent study found that people who added more of it (fiber) to their diets – without changing anything else – lost almost as much weight as people who followed eat-healthy, low-fat eating plan recommended by the American Heart Association” (Gardner, A. 2015). Gardner also says that women should be consuming at least 25g of fiber a day and men should aim for 38g. Sprouted grains are full of fiber and conveniently easy to mix into your diet. As Carobcherub.com states, “When you’re full, you don’t feel the need to eat. When you don’t eat as much you lose weight.”

When trying to lose weight it’s highly recommended to add the benefits of sprouted grains fiber to fill you up instead of other sources of calories.
