Recipe - Breakfast Quinoa with Sprouted Organic Quinoa

In July we shared how Quinoa is a great super wholegrain, packed with nutrients unlike other plant based foods.It is not only great for lunch and dinner meals, it is good for breakfast also!
We are always on the lookout for great recipes, and found this one from Simply Quinoa for a Cinnamon Apple Breakfast. All of the ingredients are available from Remark Fresh Market, 1190 Oxford Street W, London and it is an easy recipe. We cut this one in half for a single serving, and it turned out great!
Ingredients
¼ cup Sunningdale Mills Sprouted Organic Quinoa
¾ cup water
1 Large Honey Crisp Apple
2 teaspoons Dion Cinnamon
Munro honey to taste
Directions
Peel and core apple, cutting into bite sized pieces.
Add sprouted quinoa, water and apples to a saucepan. Bring all to a bowl, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. The apple will soften and the quinoa absorb the water,
Stir in the cinnamon and transfer to bowl, drizzle with honey ad extra cinnamon to taste!
